3/30 - Self-Critique

The montage is too "put together". I don't think this is my best edit, considering the time spent. I spent a long time with Katie but not long enough. Something isn't right. The sound isn't fixed. The room tone is there.
The acting is there. The scenes are where they need to be. I just need to cut this down. I hope the stupid ISO grain wouldn't an issue but I can't tell.
I only hope that the establishing will be able to have more "empty" scenes.
The first scene needs to have a coherent editing; I should cut straight to the point instead of matching sequences.
I'll see this a lot, matching sequences rather than just paying attention to the action more (ironically, this is what I use to match the sequence).
Bathroom dialogue is best, I love the sound despite the damn leaking plumbing. Kitchen dialogue, so-so but do-able. I think I can tweak it some more.
Ending is great. To the effing point. Little more tweaking for the build-up. Maybe change the shot sequence with an over-the-shoulder).
